If your computer is using a DVI-D compliant graphics card, you can connect your PC directly to a similarly equipped HDTV monitor using either a single link or dual link interconnect. If your computer is using a DVI-A connection, then treat the connection as an analog output and using a VGA-to-component breakaway cable.
